Professional Experience
- since 2007 Consultant, SOS Medical
- Permanent activity in an universitary clinic with cardiology prophile, since 1978
- Consultant in Internal Medicine (1990), and Cardiology (1996)
- Chief of Cardiac Intensive Care Unit, Emergency Hospital of Bucharest, since 1980 (care for around 500 patients annualy, of whom half with acute myocardial infaction)
- Chief, 3rd Clinic of Internal Medicine, later Cardiology 1 Department, University Hospital of Bucharest, since 1997
- Large experience in echocardiography, beginning with 1979 (over 9000 performed procedures, including transesophageal echocardiography since 1993)
Teaching Experience
- Lecturer in 1978, Senior Lecturer in 1994, Professor in 1999.
- Universitary and postgraduate courses in Internal Medicine, Cardiology, and Emergency Medicine for 4th year medical students (permantly), and 5th and 6th year medical students (intermitenly), resident doctors and specialist registrars.
