File Management
All SOS members have electronic health records thanks to our online system called the File Management Service. During every consultation the SOS Doctor has with the patient, he has direct access to the online medical file. The Doctor can track medical history, laboratory test results and any recently administered treatment. All this information helps the SOS Doctor to more accurately reach a diagnosis and to prescribe effective treatment.
Once a patient becomes an SOS member, a special individual account is created, containing all personal medical records. The patient will receive a user name and a password in order to access the online medical file anytime, anywhere the patient wishes or needs to.
This is a very important aspect because it allows the patient to check the status of his medical file or just to review his medical history but, most importantly, in the event of an emergency the treating Physician can receive all vital information directly from the online file and this can be a life saving advantage.
SOS will also initiate actions for routine and preventive medicine, the patient being monitored and advised at every checkup stage that has to do with age, gender, and specific risk of each patient specific health issues.
File Management is a Service included in all SOS membership plans, but is also available separately, as an independent membership plan, in order to allow our customers to choose the most suitable solution for their medical needs.
