SOS Emergency Doctors
Every case is treated with the utmost attention. Compassion, care and respect for the patient and family, calmness and team spirit are the qualities that complete the medical profile of our entire SOS Emergency Services crew.
How to react
Emergency conditions can be very stressful. If you are the person calling, here are the DOs and DON’Ts in such a demanding situation:
- DO:
- provide all the necessary information to the SOS Emergency crew: name of the patient, reason for ambulance request, phone number and address where the patient is located.
- follow the instructions of the Doctor on how to assist the patient until the ambulance arrives.
- call another ambulance service at the same time. This will only create confusion and block the communication between you and the SOS team.
- hang up until you are told to do so.
DON’T:
Upon arrival, our Doctor will assess and stabilise the patient’s condition. If needed, the patient will be taken to the nearest hospital for further investigations and definitive treatment.
FILE MANAGEMENT
All SOS members will soon be receiving benefits from our electronic health records, which means all their medical information will be available anytime, anywhere.
We call it the File Management Service and it will translate for you into a personal account storing all your medical history and updates. All that will be required is an internet connection and you will have a life saving advantage in case of an emergency.
