Vaccines
Immunisation through vaccination is recommended for healthy children as well as for children who are at risk of developing a particular disease, whether in an asymptomatic stage or in the first 48 hours after the contagious contact, when the symptoms of the disease have not yet appeared.
Basic primary vaccination gives the body immunity and a Booster vaccination (revaccination) is used to stimulate a secondary immune response, speeding up and intensifying the process.
Vaccination has a major importance for the baby’s health. Vaccines help children to produce their own antibodies that will protect them from major infectious diseases.
The mandatory immunisation schedule must be strictly followed in order to obtain positive results:
The SOS Paediatricians will personalise the immunisation schedule for each child individually, as it must be adapted according to each child’s specific medical needs.
Ask the SOS Paediatrician for the paediatric immunization card -> at every two paid vaccines, you get the third one for free! (this card is valid only if you use the complete vaccination scheme – starting with the age of 2 months).
